Ross Mackenzie is a wildlife and travel photographer. He travels widely looking for wild and remote places. He is particularly drawn to cold, windswept places and to the people and, particularly, the animals that choose to live there. His photographic portfolio includes images from the Arctic and Antarctic, and numerous remote islands in the north and south Atlantic. The ArtWeeks Collection 2014 will focus on some of the remote islands that Ross has visited, including the Falkland Islands and South Georgia in the south Atlantic, the Faroe Islands and Lofoten Islands in the north Atlantic, and the Shetland Islands and Hebrides around the UK. When not travelling Ross divides his time between Oxford and the Shetland Islands.
You can see Ross' images at 34 Stile Road, Headington, Oxford from 12:00-18:00, 17-26 May 2014.
