Susan Cox

Susan has been painting figuratively since training at art school in Birmingham. Her work describes personal narratives using strong colours and movement. She works in acrylic and oils on canvas, mono prints on paper, and figure drawing. Through travel in Brazil, Africa, and India themes were generated around the places seen and experienced. More recent paintings have become more influenced by British traditions - particularly from the Bloomsbury period.
